Help donate a home in Mozambique

7 July 2025 | Housing

The project launched last year to help provide homes for the neediest families in the rural area of Jécua, Mozambique, has been renewed and has an even more ambitious goal for 2025: to provide materials, transportation and labor to build 30 homes for as many poor families deprived of safe shelter.

These are simple but safe houses, able to withstand the force of the tropical storms that cyclically hit the area, built by the families themselves with logistical and material support provided by the friars.

Costs for each house have been quantified at €3,000 per house and include materials (brick, concrete and sheet metal but also fixtures), skilled labor and transportation.
