Brother Nikola, head of the Foundation’s Projects area, recently visited the mission in Juba, South Sudan. His trip was an opportunity to get a closer look at the activities carried out by the friars of the African mission.
Among the strongest testimonies are images of the work being done in the refugee camps by the PGP group-Peace and Good People: the friars and young parishioners carry out constant service to those living on the margins of local society.
The images that follow project us to the reality of the South Sudanese refugee camps, places of suffering and despair, and show us the self-sacrifice of those who, for years, have been providing medical care to men and women who possess nothing but sores, wounds and disease.
