Many women in rural areas of Togo live an existence devoid of any economic autonomy, in a condition of extreme vulnerability. The Foundation is supporting a project aimed at developing an agricultural activity that will enable 10 Togolese women to achievelabor and economic autonomy: pig farming will enable sustainable development, compatible with the agricultural training of the women involved. The project requires funds for the construction of modern piggeries, the provision of selected livestock, and vocational training. For the training aspect, the project is partnering with JARC(Jeunes et Adultes Ruraux Catholiques), a Catholic movement created in 1961 to support farmer groups in the Savannah region.
