One of South Sudan’s main problems is theextreme fragmentation of society into groups and tribes, often in conflict with each other. The people of the young African state struggle to feel united in a national identity. Holy Trinity Parish, animated by the Friars Minor, organizes an annual Football Camp, a well-structured sporting event in which the boys and girls of the South Sudanese capital find an opportunity to confront each other, get to know each other and form friendships as they throw themselves in pursuit of a ball.
