A crossroads of problems<\/h3>\n

The people who inhabit the Panamanian region suffer the consequences of a number of global problems: deforestation, drug trafficking and systematic deprivation of human rights. <\/span>Issues that, while closely affecting the original peoples of the Amazon, involve the entire global social, economic and ecological system. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Franciscan mission in Caballococha, located right on the border between Peru, Colombia and Brazil, confronts at close quarters the profound social injustice suffered by the local populations, trying to offer them tools necessary for their own livelihood.<\/span><\/p>\n
