To be able to confront the challenges of today’s world<\/strong>, every friar is called to mature as much spiritually<\/strong> as intellectually.<\/strong> <\/span>However, in adherence to what is truly a hallmark of the Franciscan charism, friars choose to live in poverty, and this often hinders access to an academic education.<\/p>\n

For this reason, Fondazione OFM Fraternitas supports the scholarship program<\/strong> aimed at ensuring access to academic study for friars from the poorest areas of the planet.<\/p>\n

The scholarships enable friars to travel to Rome to complete their training, and thus return to the Franciscan communities a trained friar<\/strong> with the necessary skills to do good<\/strong> effectively.<\/p>\n
