Our Mission
The OFM Fraternitas Foundation is a charitable organization that supports solidarity projects throughout the world. Established as an agency of the Order of Friars Minor (Franciscans) to offer more effective responses to the growing demand for solidarity expressed in our times, the Foundation operates autonomously. However, it pursues aims and objectives that are entirely consistent with the Franciscan charism.
The Franciscan spirit is the primary inspiration for the Foundation, reflected in the very choice of the term Fraternitas. Operating along the lines of Franciscan missionary action, the Foundation promotes respect for human rights, solidarity, justice, and environmental protection for a fraternal and peaceful coexistence.
How the Foundation operates
The OFM Fraternitas Foundation promotes financial support for specific solidarity projects to help the peripheries of the world.

The OFM Fraternitas Foundation operates primarily through a dialogue open to all without distinction of religion, culture, ethnicity, social status, or gender identification.
To encourage the development of a shared and diligent dialogue with its supporters, the Foundation has launched a wide range of information and communication channels, both digital and analogue. You can keep updated about the Foundation’s activities and projects it supports through this website, by following us on social media, and through the newsletter.
